RJ is the owner and founder of RJ Magee Casting. For over ten years, he has cast entertainment projects of all mediums and genres. His casting credits include Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Theality TV (streaming on Revry, YouTube, and Broadway On Demand, check out the full series below), Flaviar (celebrity casting: Stephen Soderbergh, Carlos Mencia, Marc Summers, Aisha Tyler), and more. He has also cast several short films that were fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts and awarded grants through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.

 

As a casting assistant, under Casting Director Holly Buczek (HDB Casting), he has assisted sessions for Matt Murphy Productions' The Berenstain Bears Live. Additionally, under Casting Director Ivan Martinovic, he is currently assisting on numerous television projects. Since 2014, RJ has been an Associate Talent Manager with Baker Management, where he has tripled bookings in the theatre division by placing actors on Broadway shows, national tours, regional productions, television shows, commercials, voice-overs projects, and more.
